Systems Administrator

Fuse Integration is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator/Engineer with to fill a primary role in a focused development team and interactive environment. This individual will support design, development, implementation and testing of an innovative solution for tactical network communications. Specific duties will be to install, configure and maintain Linux operating systems including applications, antivirus, user management, troubleshooting, IA, and patch management. Ideal candidates will have experience as a RHEL administrator as well as naval networking experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage PC configuration, management, troubleshooting, and imaging
  • Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory, Office 365, and other systems
  • Provide technical support to users for both hardware and software issues
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required
  • Configure, install, and maintain network IA posture
  • Install various operating systems, firewalls, and antivirus updates and definitions
  • Knowledge of networks relevant to network appliances, routers, switches, access points, software and hardware capabilities, and operating system software
  • Daily interaction with end users and customer
  • Provide on-site operational support
  • WAN, LAN, WLAN, VOIP setup and troubleshooting

Core Competencies:

Required:

  • Network and application troubleshooting experience
  • Experience configuring/troubleshooting firewalls and antivirus software
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, both server and client
  • Experience with virtual infrastructures (KVM and VMWare)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information System, Engineering, Scientific or related Technical Field from an accredited college or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Current US Secret clearance

Highly Desired:

  • Experience with managing and implementing DoD IA policy and procedure
  • Knowledge/experience configuring and troubleshooting communications applications (email, chat, VOIP, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
  • DoD IAT II
