Process

Design Thinking is a proven, optimistic approach to problem solving which embraces learning through informed prototyping and testing with a target user group. Designing collaboratively, moves beyond traditional product development by building empathy on the design team for problems faced directly by the user. Rich information related to motivations, opinions, and behavior, are sought via in-depth interviews and in-context observation. The data gathered is then analyzed to reveal assumptions, patterns, and other translatable opportunities for design in a process we call Synthesis. These inform the making of Prototypes, or mock ups, built in short cycles to test a specific set of assumptions with the user. By steadily implementing feedback into each new iteration, a solution can be honed to perfection.

This an adaptive process, meaning it is designed to anticipate change in people’s needs and tastes over time. It can used beyond the initial product launch, to test a variety of metrics, driving future versions based on real feedback. Delivering products and services that consistently resonate, will maximize potential for impact and foster a loyal user and customer base.


Our design thinking process involves defining a challenge and then responding to it by examining the user to create a solution that can be tested in iterations for continuous feedback and improvement.
