Fuse Supports UC San Diego’s Veterans Programs
(June 18, 2018) — Fuse culture is built on values that come from our veteran military teammates. In support of these values, Fuse attended a veteran-companies showcase on the University of California San Diego campus to celebrate and promote their Startup Battlefield 101 and Veteran Ventures programs. The showcase was held to inspire, encourage, and celebrate veterans who are transitioning back into the civilian commercial sphere from service with aspirations for entrepreneurship.
Fuse is proud to be engaged in the community of Southern California veterans looking to launch businesses of their own, and shared a space in the showcase with GALT, a veteran-owned integrator that, much like Fuse, serves and builds solutions for the warfighter.
Fuse believes that support for our warfighters in and out of service is imperative. The opportunities for awareness, education, and assistance provided by the city, other veteran-owned startups and businesses, and university programs like UC San Diego’s Startup Battlefield 101 and Veteran Ventures are integral to helping San Diego’s veterans support themselves, their families, and their community outside of service. Fuse looks forward to seeing the rise of and being able to promote and help more and more of these causes.
