Program Manager

Fuse Integration is looking for a senior Program Manager to lead an exciting hardware/software project from the design/development stage to production. This experienced leader will oversee and manage all aspects of program execution and provide strategic guidance to the team and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience in full life-cycle product development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance to project teams and stakeholders
  • Manage budget, schedule, and deliverables
  • Ensure system is developed to meet user-defined requirements, desired functionality, and key performance parameters
  • Oversee production lines and ensure efficient operation
  • Oversee test and evaluation throughout all stages of product development
  • Manage hardware and software certification process
  • Ensure that Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to ISO 9001 standards
  • Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs
  • Report on QMS performance and opportunities for improvement to leadership
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout your company
  • Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to it are planned and implemented
  • Direct interface with customer, support status meetings, and reports

Core Competencies:


  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field of study or Bachelor’s degree with related experience in an engineering field
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex technical systems including requirement management, functional analysis, and verification
  • Working knowledge and experience with military networking systems
  • Working knowledge of EVMS and project controls
  • Experience developing work breakdown structures, statements of work, integrated master plans, and integrated master schedules
  • Experience with Microsoft project
  • Experience with risk management processes
  • Active Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Must be able to work locally in San Diego

Highly Desired:

  • Experience with US Navy communications networks such as ADNS/CANES
  • Experience in production planning and management
  • Defense acquisition experience including working with Systems Commands and Program Offices
  • Experience with airborne platforms
  • Management degree, MBA, or similar certification (such as PMP)
