Fuse Integration proudly announces the addition of two decorated Navy veterans to its growing team. With more than 50 years of combined military experience, Robert Wasson and Dave Miceli bring unmatched operational insight and leadership to the company’s mission of delivering resilient, tactical edge networking solutions that directly support joint warfighting priorities. Wasson, a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) Subject Matter Expert known by his Navy callsign “Reckless,” joins the company as an Operations Analyst and Demos and Experiments (D&E) Program Manager. Miceli, callsign “Duck,” has been named Program Manager and Rotary Wing and Expeditionary Warfare Subject Matter Expert.
“As the U.S. military and its partner nations continue to operate at the forefront of combat, they need the ability to process and display tactical data quickly and efficiently at the edge, while transmitting that information back to command centers,” said Sumner Lee, CEO of Fuse. “Reckless and Duck bring exactly the kind of mission-first, operationally driven leadership we value at Fuse. Their firsthand experience in the battlespace and deep technical expertise will help us stay ahead of evolving mission demands.”
Wasson brings 29 years of active-duty U.S. Navy service and unmatched experience in Tactical Data Links (TDL) and Joint All-Domain Command & Control (JADC2) operations. His new role focuses on overseeing the planning and coordination of product demonstration and experimental events; analyzing data and operations to improve efficiencies; and providing specialized JICO knowledge and guidance in the TDLs employed by the U.S. military. The position is a new one for Fuse, created to help ensure that Fuse products like Kraken are showcased and refined through real-world, mission-relevant demonstrations.
A former Deputy JICO in the Navy, Wasson has served aboard multiple ships and in key ashore commands. His leadership in data networking architectures, team development, and tactical planning continues to improve combat readiness and interoperability across the joint force and allied partners.
Miceli is a distinguished military leader and recognized expert in rotary wing platforms, technologies, and tactics. He brings 21 years of Naval aviation experience and advanced degrees in aerospace engineering to Fuse. In this new position, he will guide product and program alignment and help drive strategic growth in the rotary wing and expeditionary market.
Miceli has accumulated over 2,800 flight hours in the SH-60F, HH-60H, MH-60S, and MQ-8B, and has been awarded numerous medals and decorations. A long-time advocate for improved tactical communications within the Navy helicopter community, Miceli will play a key role in expanding Fuse’s impact in contested maritime and expeditionary environments.
These new roles underscore Fuse’s commitment to advancing joint force interoperability, supporting the Department of Defense’s shift toward contested and expeditionary environments, and ensuring that cutting-edge technology is guided by warfighter operational expertise.
