Fuse maintains organic test capabilities to quickly prototype, integrate, and demonstrate operational capabilities. This accelerates build-test-build cycle and provides real data from ground and air operations.
Based in San Diego, our Test Squadron pilots have thousands of hours of military aviation experience as well as intimate knowledge of flight testing with organizations such as oil and gas companies, Department of War, Department of Homeland Security, and NASA, among others.
Fuse supports organic test and experimentation with several platforms, able to quickly prototype, integrate, and demonstrate operational capabilities. Our squadron includes a Rockwell OV-10 Bronco and Cessna O-2A Skymaster, as well as access to other aircraft, including Citation C550, Saab 340, T-38, and other platforms.
Fuse also maintains ground test capabilities. Our KRAKEN Utility Test Vehicle (UTV) and KRAKEN Container provide mobile ground platforms to test expeditionary, a wide variety of links, user applications, networked sensors, and bespoke components for our partners and customers.
Fuse ground platforms integrate with KRAKEN products, including KEG and Mobile kits , to enable distributed expeditionary operations, leveraging a combination of hybrid SATCOM, Mesh Networks, and Tactical Data Links. Fuse ground platforms enable test and experimentation organizations to observe and act during live events anywhere in the world.
The OV-10 was newly refurbished in 2025 and provides enhanced test and evaluation capabilities. The OV-10 has a total of 7 pod-mounting hardpoints, a low cost-per-flight-hour, and increased altitude and speed capabilities.
